A few recommendations for new (and veteran) Discord users...

• Our community is very active. If you're installing Discord on your phone, you should probably turn off app notifications for anything that is not a direct message. Otherwise you are likely to be bombarded with notifications constantly.

• Because this is a Discord expressly for the Carcosa in-person community, we greatly prefer people to use a “real” name and avatar for ease of identification. This helps us make the connection between talking to someone online, and in real life in the store.

• Any and all external advertisement is forbidden unless approved by a club officer in advance.

• We have several channels devoted to specific games and gaming topics. Be sure to browse these and join any that may interest you. If you are new to Discord, here's an article to help with that.
