After a year of dormancy the annual Iron Golem competition strides into summer bringing forth its trial of strategy and endurance for those who seek to possess the Magic Sword for the next year. Participants will compete in 3 ticket events plus one secret, final event for those who have managed to the end.
The day will start on the hexes with a three round Warhammer Underworlds competition. The event will be swiss in the standard format using the latest restrictions and errata.
Next the challengers will travel without moving to the hostile plains of Arrakis in a treacherous game of Dune: The Board Game. The Tleilaxu and Ixian expansion will be used, and players will have to decide whether to accept the lesser reward of a cooperative win, or whether to make a play for solo glory.
As the day turns into night, the Iron Golem competition will turn to a Baller Draft of a Magic set from yesteryear, to be determined.
And finally, as is customary, the final survivors will go head to head in a final mystery game, sure to test their dexterity and what remains of their stamina.
All three events will be ticketed individually but only those who participate in all three will be eligible for the title of IRON GOLEM.
