Do you feel the need for speed? Want to take a break from all the serious ITC play that dominates the club? Think you got what it takes to be the Carcosa Top Gun? Then this event is for you! With a custom rule set, missions and stratagems taken directly from the world famous Adepticon friendly the day promises to be a blast.
Friendly means taking out models you'd like to play, but stay in the closet due to being far from current meta. Forty K Friendly is about throwing dice and having fun around scenarios based on popular movies, and this Friendly is all about Maverick, Goose, Ice Man and breaking Mach Speed!
Armies will consist of 1500-points or less, must be Battle-forged (no Unbound armies), and may be constructed utilizing the following:
Modified Arks of Omen Detachment:
• 1 HQ
• 3 (max) of the following from same battlefield role -Troops -Elite -Fast Attack -Heavy -Lord of War -1 Flyer
Should your current army not have an aircraft in it, you may default to any aircraft with the following keywords associated with your army: Imperial, Chaos, Xenos, Aldauri, or Votann default to Imperium. Example: Deathgaurd could take a Helldrake as they share the Chaos keyword.
Armies MUST BE Battle Forged. All lists must be emailed to T.O. prior to the game day to make sure lists are Fun and Friendly and not comprised of Death Stars.
Scoring and awards are fast and loose during The Friendly. Yes, we will be scoring the games & appearance, and all that…but really you shouldn’t worry too much about it. Scores will be secondary to the experience!
