Carcosa Marvel Summer League: “Wet Hot Illuminati Summer”
About
This is the first ever Carcosa Marvel Summer League, a casual league meant to spice up the typical summer gaming slowdown with a mix of bi-weekly paired games and hobby/gameplay achievement collection adding up to an overall league winner.
Format
There are two parts to the league:
Participants will be randomly paired for set matchups against another league participant. Players will have 2 weeks to complete their game and report the results. Achievements can also be scored during these games. You may change your roster for scheduled games on the 1st of each month. You may play unscheduled games using any roster you wish.
Participants may also score points by completing any of the listed achievements (once per achievement) over the course of the league. These can be scored in ANY game even against opponents other than their scheduled matchup.
Matched games will be reported using the league setup in Longshanks, you must join the league here to participate: https://mcp.longshanks.org/event/14755/. Achievements can be submitted via Google Form and via the Discord channel.
Scheduled Games
League participants will play 6 scheduled games throughout the league. Scheduled games will begin on Saturday 6/1 and follow the below schedule. You may submit a game anytime within the window listed, with an overlapping Sunday factored in for everyone’s convenience.

Game 2: 6/16 - 6/30
Game 3: 6/30 - 7/14
Game 4: 7/14 - 7/28
Game 5: 7/28 - 8/11
Game 6: 8/11 - 8/26
Scoring
For scheduled games participants will earn 5 points for a win, 2 points for a loss, and 3 points for a tie (for a maximum of 30 points). For unscheduled games no specific points are scored aside from any achievements accomplished by the players. Each achievement is worth 2 points (for a maximum of 70 points). If players do not complete their games, both players will be scored at a loss. The league organizer may choose to award a forfeit win at his own discretion to a player if a good faith effort was made to schedule the match.
Unscheduled games
Players may play any number of unscheduled games with any opponent. These games do not award any tournament points but any number of achievements may be scored during a game. Each achievement can only be scored once per league and are each worth 2 points each. At the end of the game achievements can be submitted via the league Google form: https://forms.gle/1eqvxvBkkrQUDeMt5 Please include the date and your opponent, and be sure to tell us all about your achievement in the Discord (pictures of triumph and shame a plus!).. For painting achievements please post a completed picture in the MCP Discord channel. For painting achievements we will accept models painted as of 5/1. If you have any questions about an achievement, please ask the league organizer.
Achievements
Play a game.
Play 5 games of any kind.

Play a game with a fully painted roster
Play 3 games using different Leadership Abilities
Play 3 games using different Affiliations.
Play a mono-affiliation game (All roster models belonging to a single affiliation
Play a game only using character specific tactics cards
Play the same affiliation for all 3 months in scheduled games.
Play a game against 5 different opponents.

Win 6 games in any combination
Win a game with less than 16 points
Win a game with more than 20 points
Paint a model
Paint 5 models (grunts are considered part of their controlling model)
Paint a roster! (10 models)
Field a squad with only models you painted for this league.
Paint a combined 5 size worth of terrain for the club.
Paint a combined 10 size worth of terrain for the club
Paint a combined 15 size worth of terrain for the club
Daze or KO an enemy model with another thrown enemy model.
Daze or KO an enemy model during your opponent’s activation
Daze or KO an enemy model of 5 or more threat with a 2 threat model
In a single game, daze or KO 4 different models with the same model
Roll all skulls in a dice roll of 3 or more dice (Before Crits + Modifications)
Play a game with each player fielding the same alter ego.
Use all 5 team tactics cards in one game
Play an Ultimate Encounter with at least 2 other people.
Destroy all Size 4 and smaller terrain on the table by the end of the game.
Deal 8 or more damage (after defense/damage reduction) in a single, non-tactics card attack.
Field a squad of entirely threat 5 or greater models
Field a squad entirely of threat 3 or less models
End a game with all your starting non grunt models still on the table
